"Our room was "ready" but when we walked in bathroom was not clean toilet dirty and dirty towels. AC didn't work it was 78 when we walked in. Maintenance tried to fix it twice and on our last day it was 76. It was the worst Embassy we've stayed. "

"I liked the central position of the hotel. It was situated same distance, five-seven minutes walk to French Quarter, River Walk, WWII Museum or Caesar Superdome in the quiet business area with tram station to Garden City just accross. Airport express station is two minutes walk."

"The hotel was nothing like I thought it was going to be. It was first time in New Orleans and it was awful. The area at the hotel was dirty and scary. I felt unsafe. The staff at the hotel were not friendly or helpful. There is no parking readily available so you end up using the valet which was an additional $150 I had not planned on. The room was noisy. The fan inside the room was loud and constant. Even with that noise you could hear people outside the hotel and in the hallways and next door. Ugh! There was no housekeeping around and the room was dirty especially the bathroom. The tub wouldn’t drain and the bathroom facet leaked. The hotel was meant to be historic. I guess that really means old and broken. "

"From start to finish, our stay and experience at The Virgin Hotels was excellent! Our Grand Suite was spacious, nicely appointed and comfortable. Enjoyed the rooftop pool bar and our server Elliot at the restaurant gave helpful information about local restaurants and museums. The Valet parking crew was on top of things and Riley in particular had that welcoming Southern Charm and was attentive. My next visit to New Orleans will include another stay at The Virgin!!!"
