「Loved the actual fireplace in the room」

「Room was of modest size but clean, comfortable, quiet, well maintained and very reasonably priced. It is very near the university though a bit over 1 mile pleasant walk from the more interesting primary business district and fine restaurants.」

We had to wait to check as there was a line of guests with only one staff member behind the desk. We found the check in fairly robotic and, unfortunately, we were not offered a choice of room location. Also a bowl of fresh fruit in the coffee room would have been a nice addition to the amenities.」

「The floor wasn't swept from previous guests, cheap power strips hanging from outlets, Keurig was broke and soap dispensers barely eked out any soap. On the positive, easy parking, comfy enough beds, clean towels, good hot water pressure and cheap.」

「Abigail's is a lovely B & B and the hosts are quite accommodating. We felt very welcome in their home and were provided several amenities including a blanket and seat cushions for the play we attended in the outdoor Elizabethan Theatre. 」

「The check in experience was so bad that they did not find my reservation. And they have to keep calling their manager who is not on site to find out more information. Finally they want me to re-book with them again and pay on site. I told them that I have a booking with Hotels.com, they keep saying they cannot find the reservation. I spent at least 30 minutes at the front desk and still couldn't resolve the problem. It made me think they want to charge me twice.」
