La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grants Pass

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grants Pass

10/10 Excellent
"This is a very nice La Quinta. The location is excellent, just off I-5 for people traveling through Oregon in either direction. The front office staff was wonderful. In fact, the woman who greeted us on arrival reminded me of Stevie on “Schitt’s Creek”. She assigned us a top-floor room as we had requested, and even though we were an hour early for check-in, we were able to go right to the room. The room had two wonderful queen beds, was perfectly clean, had a big-screen TV, a microwave oven (which I used to reheat a meal) and a mini-fridge as well. The bathroom was very clean, and the toilet had a good fan. (Some hotels don’t put a fan in the bathroom.) The A/C was terrific, and that was good because it was 105° the afternoon we arrived. The breakfast was very good: biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, several types of cereal, muffins, waffles, and yogurts as well as two types of juice and very good coffee. The front office staff at check-out was wonderful too! I would stay here again, because I was very pleased with the stay overall."

"Beautiful grounds. I loved how there was a little path leading to the river 5 minutes from our cabin. The "happy hour" in the evening was great, as was the breakfast."

"Breakfast great, pool great! Only thing was the room was pretty run down and bathroom had a lot of mold so I had to use an outdoor bathroom instead because I’m really allergic."

Sunset Inn

Sunset Inn

8/10 Good
"For the purpose of spending the night or 2, this hotel is perfect. We booked a suite and were surprised on how spacious the room was, and it came with 3 queen beds. The motel looks run down on the outside. The vicinity looks safe as it is within the business area, we did spot stragglers nearby but not too bothersome, someone forgot to roll up their car window and the car wasn't ransacked. The city does have dedicated park for homeless folks. Wifi did not work for us, bathroom is clean but a bit run down as well. We will definitely stay here again."
