「Driving north from California on a long drive, by myself, I thought I would spend the night resting here and indulge in procuring a room with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It was Mother's Day weekend, and they were cleaning up from serving a brunch, and the kitchwn was closed to serving dinner at around 5pm. 「This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.」

「The check in experience was so bad that they did not find my reservation. And they have to keep calling their manager who is not on site to find out more information. Finally they want me to re-book with them again and pay on site. I told them that I have a booking with Hotels.com, they keep saying they cannot find the reservation. I spent at least 30 minutes at the front desk and still couldn't resolve the problem. It made me think they want to charge me twice.」
