「Clean if old room. Heating/cooling loud and inconsistent. Room ran too hot then too cold etc. had good shower soap and shampoo which was really nice. Did not hear road or traffic sounds. Convenient for our purposes. I would stay again. 」

「I really loved my stay at this property. The rooms were bigger and designed better than many others I have stayed at. The bathrooms were especially sound proof, I love to not hear what other people are doing in there!!! The staff was so friendly and competent. The rooms were easily accessible from the parking lot. The grounds were well maintained. But my favorite part was the decor in the halls and rooms. Delightfully dated in an upgraded, clean, and well maintained interior. Original 60's...

「The check in experience was so bad that they did not find my reservation. And they have to keep calling their manager who is not on site to find out more information. Finally they want me to re-book with them again and pay on site. I told them that I have a booking with Hotels.com, they keep saying they cannot find the reservation. I spent at least 30 minutes at the front desk and still couldn't resolve the problem. It made me think they want to charge me twice.」

「Just a block from the Shakespeare Festival, this hotel is ideally located. Room was clean as were common areas. Chairs in the room were cute, but could use some stuffing. Breakfast was good deal at $5…a step up from chain hotel breakfasts. 」

「The Bard is always a great option for lodging when attending the OSF. It’s a five minute walk to all of the theatres, the area supports good food and shopping plus Lithia Park has a nice trail for a morning hike/stroll. I’ve stayed at the Bard a number of times and would choose it again in a heartbeat. 」
