"This is a beautiful hotel. The style was awesome and the valet service was awesome. Loved the ability to text to have your car ready! I was frustrated that there was an awful alarm in the hallway and when I asked for help, I had to ask repeatedly and it took hours. Everything great. "

"The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is an aesthetic paradise. Truly. We learned upon arrival that both Harborside and Beach Club share amenities, so the options are unparalleled to other hotels in the area. Whether you get a friendly front desk staff is apparently a gamble. We went twice in a month and had entirety different experiences. Can't beat the visuals though. Highly recommend. "

"Check in was not pleasant. There were not any valets or doormen to direct us to check in and we had to figure that out only to interrupt the only person available. She was rude and put out that we arrived and interrupted her private cell phone conversation. No welcome it introduction. I mentioned it was my husbands birthday so she could maybe select the best room available for our rate. No acknowledgment at all of our special occasion. She basically pointed and told us our room was “that way”...

"The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...
