"Nice and clean place, location is centre of the city. Only downfall is the rooms are extremely small. Two guests maximum per room, the bed is against three walls at one end of the room. The provided fridge fits about 6 cans in it and that’s it. The only sink provided is very small. Shower is a good size though. The gym facility while not amazing, is the best I’ve stayed in for a boutique hotel setting. Has enough to get you by for your stay. There’s a smith machine, cable system , benches and...

"One lady at the hotel with dark hair went above and beyond in service. However the hotel says it is renovated but when actually going in, you can see it's only parts of it, the rest is old bones. It definitely still shows ages. Carpet has dark spots in the room. The stay had small mishaps but nothing serious and like i said, one lady gave stellar service. 5 stars for service :) Unfortunately on the second floor one of our guests could not sleep all night because he had car alarms going off that...

"I love the convenience of the location of this property to Michigan Ave. and the museums. The quality of the room could be improved. The toilet paper quality is terrible, the quality of the towels and bed linens are three star rated...and should be upgraded! Don't like that there is no carpeting in the hallways. It makes a noisy atmosphere. I asked for bottled water in my room and had to repeatedly ask for it every day....I stayed for a week! I should not have had to keep asking."

"Sofitel is our favorite Chicago hotel. Great service, amazing rooms and perfectly placed among our favorite shops and restaurants. The food at Le Bar and the restaurant are excellent. Also, they have the MLB channel, so if you're in town for a Cubs game, you can start your morning with baseball and wind down your night with baseball."

"Its a great location to either walk or catch a ride to your favorite activities. I have stayed there many times for that reason. I am usually traveling with a group of 4 so i wish tne rooms were bigger with sofa-bed option. But convenience usually wins out when i decide which hotel to pick in downtown Chicago."
