「The location was prime! Lots of restaurants, bars and breweries within walking distance and a short drive to the mountain. We enjoyed our updated room at the Sierra House. It seems some things are still under construction as the building was very new but that didn't bother us a bit. The steam and sauna are slightly outdated but again that doesn't matter to us. We really enjoyed our stay!」

However, unlike past experiences, this unit charges extra for daily housekeeping service and a separate fee for trash removal. The check-out time is 10:00am. We requested a later check-out 2 days prior to departure but the request was denied. The toiletries were supplied in small paper squeezable packets. There are better options in this price range.」

「There is a list of fines for such items as leaving blinds open, not putting items in dishwasher, not setting temperature in EACH room, not taking out trash etc. We felt like we were working for the management company, not enjoying a vacation! 「We had a great time! Perfect location for exploring Yosemite. Kitchen could use some updated utensils (serving spoons/spatulas) and a larger pot for making pasta. And more throw blankets would be nice. But the fireplace was wonderful and beds were super cozy. Would definitely stay again! 」

「Cette location est très bien située dans le parc des Yosemite : dommage que le ménage soit minimaliste et que les deux banquettes convertibles soient très inconfortables. A ne pas conseiller à plus de 6 personnes, sauf si les couchages supplémentaires sont destinés à des enfants. Nous avons informé du problème le prestataire. Sa seule réponse a été la mise à disposition d'un matelas pneumatique livré le deuxième jour, ce qui ne pouvait pas plus nous satisfaire (8 adultes de plus de 60 ans)....

Only hard thing was The lock to get in did not work but there was an open door so we got in. There was no book to tell us about the area or property.
