"The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us and our pet feel at home. Unfortunately, the room did not match the quality of the service. It was quite dark, dated, and it needed a deep clean, as we found it quite dirty upon arrival. "

"Definitely found my new hotel for all Baton Rouge visits. Easy check in, clerks were SO polite. Hotel was the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Rooms were beautiful, great view. Beds slept amazing. "

"Still under construction. Beautiful rooms. Most staff was helpful and pleasant. Dining facilities are not up to standard. Many items on the menu were not available. I left one restaurant after being told 4 times that my selections were unavailable.(Sorry, we are out of ...) I went to the other restaurant, ordered a BLT. After waiting a while, I was told there was no sliced bread, but they could serve the BLT on a bun. I cancelled my order and left."

"The hotel staff was incompetent. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite, but then was told they were all dirty and might not get cleaned for over 4 hours- This was at 4:20pm!! Then we watched the housekeepers all leave after 5pm. Next, the clerk said we could have 2 adjoining rooms- only to not know how to do that!! "

"Best of BR for sure :) historically beautiful, warm staff, lobby bar and dining, and super cute location. Thumbs up all around 👍"
