「Hey y'all, This was our second time to visit the area. We stayed somewhere else last time but decided this time to try Cove Haven Resort. The positives: breakfast buffet had everything one could think of for breakfast and was tasty and the service was great. 「The place is in a beautiful spot but totally run down. The staff does not care about the guests and will do nothing to help. No coffee until like 7:45 if you’re lucky. No complimentary coffee as advertised. Really disappointed all around. Place is so old and smelly. If you like nursing homes than you might enjoy staying. Sorry but true. 「Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life.
