「There was maintenance being performed on casino electrical system so the bars and all but one restaurant were closed for business 45 minutes wait to be seated for dinner Also Alder hotel charged additional 25 dollars per night to use casino, which was not explained when reservation were made 」

「My husband and I stayed at The Chatwal Lodge (about two hours from NYC) and it’s easily one of the best resorts we’ve been to. It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special. 「Nice big room, comfortable bed. Everything very clean and well appointed. 24/7 Continental breakfast was so convenient with a wide variety of choices to meet everyone’s needs, including gluten-free, dairy, free, etc. The outdoor deck is getting a little worn, but perfectly comfortable with nice seating. Really enjoyed how the room opened onto the front deck if you wanted to pop outside real quick or sit out at the table. It was a lovely spot very close to town. Really a great place to stay.」
