「This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.」

「Great location on beach with convenient lounge chairs and umbrellas. Kids also loved the new pool. Many restaurants within walking distance but they get crowded. Our 2nd visit there and will be back in future.」

「Early evening I received a phone call from the front desk. I was asked if I was still coming! I told them I was, they said “Um, just making sure”. Maybe 5-10 minutes passed and they called again. This time I was asked if I would be open to staying elsewhere. I said “No, I’m traveling with family.” A short pause on their end and then “Ok, you can stay here” I arrived to check in and was asked for ID, I provided it and the clerk looked at it, held it out to the other clerk making a face and...

「The hotel definitely has a very old, historic feel, but not much has been updated, so it shows its age. Parking wasn’t the most convenient since you have to use a parking garage, which can be a bit of a hassle. On the plus side, the location is right in the middle of everything, which makes it great if you’re planning to go out and enjoy the nightlife. Overall, it’s a decent option if you just need a place to stay for the night while you’re out partying」
