「We stayed here at the Rumfish for 4 nights recently during the World Series. There were some great things about the place. The beach was amazing. The fried green tomatoes from the restaurant were fantastic. The hotel was recently opened after the flooding from the hurricanes in ‘24 and you could tell. They still have some work to do. The rooms are dated, and have more of a motel type of feel to them. The place isn’t dirty but it isn’t clean either. The location is good. Right on the beach which...

「We stayed in room 141 for two nights, and both my wife and I ended up with numerous bites all over our bodies that look very much like bed bug bites. This has never happened to us before, and the bites are consistent with what we've seen described as bed bug bites.
Now, instead of simply enjoying the end of our vacation, we're having to carefully wash and heat-treat all our clothing and belongings to make sure we don't bring bed bugs into our home.
The hotel looks freshly renovated and is very...

「Such a beautiful place!!! My only recommendation is they need to lock the gates at the pool! We left at 3:30 am and there were 3 people swimming in the pool… they took off running away when they saw us, so definitely not guests!!!
The property is so beautiful and well cared for that I’d hate to see someone destroy something!」

「The room was fine, very clean, nothing to complain about. There was a strange TV setup: a Spectrum box with unplugged HDMI cable, a Bose soundbar with a missing battery and a missing remote lid and a modest TV. I had to spend some time to be able to watch the world cup. There is no balcony, but we used handrails of the passage inside the building to dry our swim clothes. The nearest beach is within 5 minutes walk, but the beach is really nice. We'll be happy to come back to this place again.」

「Charming little home, 30 second walk to the beach, well stocked, comfortable...
Clean, with the exception of the 'Palmetto Bug', aka cockroach on the kitchen floor at 3AM, which was the size of a small car...
The cash 'cleaning fee' that I was charged after I arrived wasn't fun either, though I was told via email in advance I would be. Can't say I agree with this practice, felt like I was being robbed...」
