「The hotel was overall clean and neat. The rooms were welcoming. Staff was friendly. The hotel restaurant had good food. The pool on the other hand did not look clean at all. The pool had some kind of slime or nasty clear sludge near the shallow area. Everyone was staying away from it. After 10-15 minutes of being inside the pool with my kids, we decided to exit it and never come back in.」

「This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.」

「The room was nicely decorated but the floors felt dirty, the curtains were also too long and they were dragging on the floor and collecting dust. The outside seating area was nicely decorated but there was no privacy, you were staring directly at 6 other rooms. The check in was terrible, that may have been an Expedia problem because I could not open the email they sent me. Check in was at a whole other property and we had a hard time finding where we were actually staying. When we called...

「We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Cove! The beach access was absolutely amazing, and everything throughout the property was very clean and well maintained. The beach itself was beautiful, with clear water and no seaweed, which made the experience even better. The only improvement I would suggest is updating the beds. They felt a bit outdated and were not very stable. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again.」

「I reported the AC issue on the first day. I was told it was functioning normally, but the constant noise made it difficult to rest. We stayed three nights before being moved, and I feel that significantly affected our stay Furthermore, they knew perfectly well that the air conditioning in that room wasn't working properly, yet they still allowed the guest to stay there.」

「This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel. The first time was perfect. The last two times they were issues my second time it was extremely noisy, banging on walls all night and people standing and talking in front of my door. This time I was putting in a room where the air conditioning could not be adjusted. It can only be set to 64°, which was extremely cold. Each day I am told a manager reach out to me, but they never do forgiven false promises of a discounted rate.」
