「Such a cute and relaxing place!! you definitely feel like you're on vacation. loved the music playing throughout the resort and the ambiance. the room was clean and had everything that we needed. the little porch with the sitting area was a nice plus. we went on a holiday weekend and still did not feel it was too busy. short drive to the beach with free parking. Will definitely be coming back!」

「This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.」

「Staff in restaurants were somewhat accommodating. We asked to change our reservation from 2 to 4 people in the Riva restaurant. We were informed they could only take us at 8:10. We said ok, then the manager of Riva said no, not until 9:00 is there an open table. Then the concierge informed me he could get it changed. Not great communication amongst staff. Food in Riva was ok. All in all, it was a good experience.」

「I reported the AC issue on the first day. I was told it was functioning normally, but the constant noise made it difficult to rest. We stayed three nights before being moved, and I feel that significantly affected our stay Furthermore, they knew perfectly well that the air conditioning in that room wasn't working properly, yet they still allowed the guest to stay there.」

「Don’t stay upstairs because the you will be asked to keep it down. Which we were asked several times to keep the noise level down. One night just opening the sofa bed and the next day in the afternoon. The property is not even updated.」

「Staff that we encountered were all nice. Took away a star for two reasons: the elevators and the countless fees (which all downtown properties have....I just think they are dumb). There are 3 elevators for an 18 story hotel. And they go from the lobby....through all parking levels.....and up to each floor. We waited forever for these things. It became super annoying and I was over it quickly. The great things were the omelet bar, the bartender was excellent (so personable) and they had N/A Beer...
