"We were off season by a week, so the Village of Freeport was mostly closed, however the Inn was open. The staff was accommodating, the main lobby was warm and friendly and the Tavern served excellent food. It was also a block before the Village started and 2 or 3 blocks from LL Bean."

"The check in and out process was very quick in easy. Personnel were very friendly and helpful, even friendly towards my kids as they eagerly began exploring right away. All staff I encountered was polite. The hotel and the room were clean and inviting. My kids and I loved the pool and hot tub. "

"In the heart of Old Port. We loved waking up and being able to walk along the waterfront, shop around, and grab a bite to eat in walking distance. We came for a weekend getaway to see a comedy show. Such a beautiful place. We will be back for sure! "

"Modern and clean, had a nice partial ocean view from the bed. The bathroom was spotless with a nice large walk in shower complete with overhead rain shower head. Staff were attentive and courteous. Had a drink in the hotel lounge that actually was amazing. Then used the complementary transportation which was a nice Mercedes SUV and the driver was hilarious. We laughed all the way to and from dinner ! Great stay and stress free!"

"Perfectly located. Within walking distance to arena and the piers. Nice staff, rooms are nice. Would have been nice if the restaurant was open for more than breakfast buffet, but we were within walking distance to a number of great restaurants. "

"I go to Portland for 2 nights every April school vacation with my grandkids. We have stayed at different hotels and the Residence Inn is the best. The pool is the nicest for the kids. The room has a kitchen so we can cook in a bit. The breakfast is great. The staff was friendly. It is clean. It is in walking distance to restaurants and the water front. The only thing that was amiss slightly (probably due to staff shortages found in most every business these days) was that we requested bedding...

"Friendly staff, easy check- in and out, easy parking. Rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was limited but super neat and clean. Only negative is your room- you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next door. "
