Downtown 2 Stars Hotels

Good location close to everything. Stylish hotel. Amazing customer service. Very clean room. I would get better pillows though. Too soft. No head support.

Family friendly. Ocean view. Good coffee. Very happy with stay.

It’s freshly renovated and updated. Robes in bathroom, plenty of towels, comfy beds.

I feel like we really lucked out with this stay. Planned only 2 weeks prior, we booked accommodations last minute and took a chance on Avondale. It was perfect! Right on Beach Ave. in Cape May, we had view of the ocean from our balcony area. Upon booking, I received a call within 30 minutes from Avondale to confirm our stay and to ask us if we were OK with with walking up the stairs to 2nd or 3rd floor as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and the 2nd floor facing the beach was perfect....

Welcoming staff. You could smell the cleanliness when you walked in the front door. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Clean rooms (& I’m hard to impress in that department) with the exception of a couple of spots on the ceiling that I’m pretty sure could be easily cleaned off. I won’t say what it appeared to be, but they need to clean it off. Pool is NOT heated, just FYI. I only like heated pools, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. I love the large bottles of Dove body wash, shampoo &...

Had a great time. Hope to go back again !

Very nice hotel and enjoyed my stay. Suggestion: There are no bars in the bathroom to hold onto either in the shower or around the toilet. I'm 75 and those are really needed to feel save. Elbert

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was pleasant.

One night run away. Nice, comfy place to stay. We would stay again.

We loved Gold Leaf hotel - especially their excellent customer service! Very nice facilities, close to the beach, comfy and clean, they were able to accommodate our late check out and were just all around great people

Place is great and the location is perfect. Loved our stay, but wished it was longer. We'll definitely be back.

What a cute hotel this is! Located on a quiet street but an easy walk into town and down to the beach. Outside seating areas on the porch and balconies give a communal feel. The rooms are bright, colorful and clean. The shower has a rain shower head on it and it's all just kind of beachhead-hip if you are looking for something cool. It was also dog friendly and I had my dog with me-- the stairs inside the inn are wood and he would never go down them - luckily there were stairs outside the...

My children and I loved our stay! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff made this hotel stay among one of the best we've experienced. The free breakfast had something for everyone and was an added bonus. Beautifully decorated room added a flare. Will be coming back for repeat stays in the near future without hesitation!!

My second stay and it very enjoyable minor complaint the tv was a bit of a pain to deal with.

Love the pools that there are two of them one in one out I like the fact that you could order food from the restaurant there cause it was really good. I like the fact that it was across the street from the beach and that the location was excellent.

We loved the view from our room

Nice hotel 2.5 miles to rehoboth beach. Free Breakfast is always a plus for our family with little children. Parking at rehoboth beach was $15 for the day. Beach umbrellas $16/each and chairs $8. Rental office closes 5p m so make sure to get there early if you wasn’t get your money’s worth.
