We had a wonderful stay ! The location is perfect - right on the beach and all restaurants, shopping is walkable . The staff at the Surf Club was friendly and welcoming . The rooms were very clean and spacious . Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We stayed at the Surf Club for my son’s baseball tournament in Georgetown. The location was great, right near the beach and my 5 year old lived the pool. The only issue was that the building is older and the noise coming from the room above was so loud that we all woke up and stayed awake for 2 hours. The family above were actually not loud at all but the floor made it seem as if we were in the same room as them and we could hear the child playing with a bouncy ball and heard every bounce, jump and voice. The hotel did not have another room to offer us as it was sold out and could only offer us extra pillows to help us muffle the sound. When we explained we would like to go ahead and leave so we could stay somewhere we could actually sleep (we were up at 5 am daily for the tournament) they said we would forfeit the fees. Great location just not great if you actually need to sleep.

Overall, we had a great stay at this facility. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable, and the mini kitchen and dining area really topped off the room. I gave a 4/5 rather than a 5/5 due to the floors being pretty sandy when we entered the room, as well as the shower having some sand in the bottom.

Excellent location! Felt cozy and private. Hotel was a bit dated but spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants, and anything else you might need. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the tradition beach hotel feel with upgrades of the finishes in the room. We stayed in an Ocean front room and the laminate flooring, comfy bed, and eating area were wonderful. The view was breathtaking. The convenience of the kitchenette was awesome and we'll appointed. We will definitely be back.

The hotel was very clean. The staff constantly was out working . Really was super close to the ocean. They had a nice pool. The parking is a bit of pain especially the 4th of July. It did get better after the 4th. The no elevator is not fun but they do a dumb waiter for luggage.

Building itself looks like rundown, Air conditioning unit leaked all night, bathroom door is impossible to close. Staff was nice though. Overpriced. Overall disappointed. Not enough parking at the building, the night I stayed was pouring down. Hard to find parking near by.

Initially i was very impressed with the staff. All were courteous & helpful. Then. I left something in my room after checkout & they "cant locate it" It was literally the only item left and was on the corner of an empty bed. You cant locate it? No...you just want to keep it

Staff was very nice. They allowed my daughters and I to park there before we could get our rooms and allowed us to park there a few hours after check out. The rooms were clean. The pool was very nice. They had vending machines. And it was right on the beach. The only negative was there was no elevator and the dumb waiter did not work but other than that…it was a great stay!!!!!

The hotel was wonderful. So close to the beach😎. The dumb waiter was a huge help to us. The staff were friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The pool was great. We had a great stay at The SurfClub. We will be back. Thank you.
