I love Ventura! It is the hub for skaters and surfers alike. I'd love to stay here longer than a week. The town is vibrant, so many shopping & dining options, the beaches are beautiful, and it's not a busy area like Santa Monica, LA, etc.

This is a lesser known coastal area in California sandwich between Santa Monica and Santa Barbara which is where most people go. Great hidden gem if you're looking for some down time without the cost. Good for remote workers.

Cute town, a little bit of a sleepy beach town. I felt very at peace walking around and taking in the beauty of everything. Beautiful architecture in the downtown area. Walkable to everything you may need.

Highly recommend taking the ferry to Channel Islands. We saw so many dolphins and Sea Cave Kayaking was so fun and memorable.

I was in Ventura for the XGames which was great fun! Cute beach town and a great bike path along the beach.
"This is a little gem, a very nice fully updated motor court retro feel motel. The rooms are very nicely done, they are small but efficiently appointed and attractive. The bathroom shower is deluxe and huge with lovely tile work. It is very well situated, central ro Ventura and very walkable. I will definitely return! "
