"great location and the staff were friendly and attentive. Room was a little smaller than expected. Sink faucet really didn’t work. Rooms could use an upgrade/update. Ok experience for the money. "

"Room was clean. Parking was free and a parking garage is available with an elevator that goes directly to the floor your room is on. Complimentary breakfast is offered and included chilaquiles and breakfast burritos along with the usual continental breakfast items. It was the best continental breakfast i’ve had and worth returning for. "

"Free parking. Poorly cleaned bathroom with hair wad in tub and dirty grime between floor tiles. Dirty bathroom ceiling vent with caked up dust. Cabinets with worn and rotten wood(maybe due to proximity to beach and salty air). Place could use better property management and upgrades from the owner. Much more pride and dignity can be given to the hotel. It’s all about the small things and attention to detail that make a stay great, even for lower-end inns and spaces. It’s about principle and morale. "

"Amazing location and view"

"The breakfast was ok. They had someone manning the waffle station. Otherwise it was just scrambled eggs bacon and breakfast sausage. The eggs and bacon were tasty. The room was hot and humid when entered but cooled off after 30 minutes which was nice. Bathrooms were clean. However, this place also sufferers from not having curtains that cover the windows. It was bright in my room with the ambient lighting of the area, which made it hard to sleep. I don't need the white/ yellow see through curtains...i need the ones that actually block light. The room i had, had about a foot on either side of the window of real curtain. "

"We had a wonderful experience at San Bueno. The hotel is beautiful, newly remodeled and just lovely. So clean and quiet, located 2 minutes walking from all the restaurants and shopping. The staff was professional, friendly and when we asked, the staff gave us great recommendations to local areas to see and restaurants to eat at. "

"It right on the beach, but parking is questionable at the very least. If you are not using valet, your self parking in a shady garage. The hotel itself was just ok, and right next to train tracks with trains passing quite frequently. I wanted to like the place more, but it’s average. It does the job if you’re only using the place to sleep. Staff is great though. Everyone was very friendly. "
