I stayed here two different time in two different rooms. Great people at the front desk on either side of a backpacking trip to the Channel Islands. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean, safe, and the beds are comfortable. The motel is off the main street, but the parking is enclosed by the motel's buildings and it looks like there are cameras aimed at the parking lot. I was driving my work truck with tools, so this was a perk for me. Excellent value and friendly staff/owners.

There’s no phone in the room. You can hear every step in the rooms around and the bed was very uncomfortable. The pipes from other guest’s showers were so loud I had to turn up tv to hear. The employees were very nice though.

My mom and I stayed here one night on our trip down the coast. It was a last minute decision to stay, and the area itself was a bit worrisome upon booking. So many other places in the surrounding area had frightening reviews! Upon arrival, we felt a bit nervous, but were quickly put at ease by the owner/gentleman at the front desk. He was very plesant, reassuring, and considerate. Upon entering the room, its what you would expect from a motel. Nothing more, nothing less. It was dated in its appearance but still very clean and had basic amenities such as soap and shampoos and a refrigerator. We didnt need much. But for others traveling, there is no microwave or coffee maker. The chair in the room was a bit stained, but we didnt use it. You could definitely feel the springs through the bed, but we still slept just fine. My only complaints would be that the TV only offered 1 channel, and the walls are VERY thin. We happened to have a couple arguing the entire night next door to us, but with only 1 channel on the tv, it just added entertianment lol. For anyone on a budget, just looking for a quick clean stay, I would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, but absolutely do not recommend

Service for the motel was great. The rest of it was not. Parking was terrible, the area is not great, there were some homeless individuals standing in front of my room door when I first arrived. Once I got into the room it only got worse. All the baseboard and trim around the room looked terrible. Dirty and beat up. There was a missing light in the ceiling, one of the bulbs was burnt out and only one worked. The bathroom sink had a crack in the enamel, the light switch cover was corroded, and the toilet wobbled. The handle on the one night stand in the room was broken, the quilt had multiple cigarette burns on it and miscellaneous stains. The view out the back window looked.like a junkyard. I've honestly never been in a worse hotel room. Cannot recommend anyone stay here unless you have no other choice.

NO INTEGRITY -- DO NOT RECOMMEND

The manager Mayur was friendly until there was a problem. I had two problems, with no resolution. 1) There was no hot water in the morning. I ran the shower for 20 minutes. No hot water, no shower. I told Mayur this in a call about five hours after I left, as the office was empty when I left. He said in a later call that he tested the water and it was hot, and that my room was one of five rooms that used the same water heater, so another room may have used up the hot water. That doesn’t help. There was no offer of a partial refund or an apology. The room was mediocre at best, but I only needed a bed and a shower for a night. 2) I had to take an urgent trip and booked the room the night before I needed it. I saw at 5 am the next morning that I mistakenly booked for the day after I needed the room. I contacted Hotels.com to change the reservation, but there was no one at the motel, so the rep suggested I cancel the first reservation and rebook for that day. He canceled my reservation and processed a refund request while I rebooked. Note: My initial booking was $145 and my rebooking was $254 -- $399 total. After multiple tries, Hotels.com informed me that my refund request was denied. I subsequently spoke with Mayur 4 times about refunding my initial booking, and each time, he promised to look into it and get back to me. He never did. I have had to follow up, but no resolution. I judge a business by its integrity, and at this establishment there is none. Booker beware.

The room was in the corner which helped my Girl friend feel safer. The owner/manager made us feel welcome & was helpful to us getting acquainted with the area. Overall the stay was excellent! Somehow the manager is blessed with a herd of Elephants in the lobby!
