This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. 「Everything about The Francis Malbone House was amazing. The location is in the middle of bustling Thames Street full of shops and restaurants while the Inn itself is tranquil and private. The breakfasts were amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. My husband and I hope to visit again soon. 」

「We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and so glad we found this adorable inn. Their yummy breakfasts were pleasantly served by the inn keeper, Kim and the Inn accommodated my gluten allergy for breakfast treats. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the wharf, we basically left our car in their private parking lot and walked everywhere. An added bonus, 4-6pm they served cheese, crackers and wine. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great, warm stay.」
