「Really good stay for 1 night before an early flight. Nice meal in restaurant」

「Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. 「Very friendly. We were shown to our rooms by the landlord of the pub. It was Sunday night, very quiet. Parking out front. Really nice location with a cute harbour.」

「Welcoming staff and parking is a positive. The toilets and showers are very poor. Doors on toilets don't lock properly, showers are very poor, no cleaning soap in shower or toilet or they were broken. This was on the 3rd floor. Don't know why I was on the third floor s there weren't many guests. Some guests I noticed leave a lot to be desired. I suppose you get what you pay for. This place is in need of a complete overhaul especially the toilet and shower facilities.」

「The location is beautiful, close to some great trails if you're hiking. The pub itself is lovely as well. Food and drinks were good and affordable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was great. They were a bit overwhelmed in the restaurant in the evening though - not sure if it was because there were more people than anticipated, or not enough staff, but food was very slow coming out and both nights we ate there there were errors in our order. 「The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and is within walking distance of Newcastle University. The city centre is also easily accessible by bus. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Free coffee was also available throughout the day, which was a nice extra.」

「Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.」
