「Hotel was a little dated, however, the staff and service was second to none. We also booked dinner in the bistro and that was absolutely delicious. Bistro was very nice and staff were excellent, delivering excellent service. Nothing was to much bother. We asked for lattes after our meal to drink in the lounge next door to the Bistro, and staff were very accommodating. We will definitely stay again. Great place to stay 」

「The Sunderland Holiday Inn staff were wonderful. I had a bad fall at the theatre and when I got back they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially Kieran. He offered to take me to A&E but I did not want to go. He bathed my wound and found a plaster for it. I cannot remember the name of the other receptionist but she was equally as kind and helpful. 「We stayed here for one night to attend a concert, bargain price for what was offered. Easy 20 mins into Newcastle town centre, super friendly staff, comfy bed, one of the best showers I've had in a hotel and fantastic breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay.」

「This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful.
