"The room smelt like cigarette smoke, the service for front desk/in room service was not efficient or even kind for that matter. No robes in the rooms, or extra blankets. Pillows are hard. Good hotel for people who are partying hard. Not a relaxing stay if not looking for that. "

One thing I would say is there is no self parking really, so be prepared to pay seventy bucks a night for valet. And the property of this caliber should have a hot tub, and this one did not.I was very disappointed but I should have checked on that myself before I booked. "

"A lot of hidden fees at Checkout. The fees alone for two nights ended up costing me $351 CAD, and i didn’t even use anything but parking… theres fees called urban amenities, city worker protection, and I was not aware parking was $70USD per Night. "

"Disappointing Experience During a Critical Stay We stayed at the Andaz during Academy Awards weekend for business, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. At check-in, there was confusion with incidental charges. I was told my card was declined, so I provided another—only to later confirm the first had been charged. The hotel placed holds totaling about $1,200 across two cards. Completely unnecessary. The biggest issue was the elevators. One bank was partially out of service, and there is no guest staircase. One morning, we were stuck on the 5th floor for over an hour and missed an important breakfast meeting. A housekeeping staff member eventually helped us use a service elevator. This is unacceptable, especially during a major event weekend. We chose this hotel for its proximity to industry events, but the elevator issues made it difficult to move efficiently or host meetings—it was honestly embarrassing. Breakfast at Riot House was also disappointing: a mediocre buffet at $122 for two (no alcohol). A manager said incidental charges would be removed, but they were still on the final bill. The overall experience was not worth the price. We will not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel. Overall, what was once a hip, rock-and-roll–inspired property now feels like a tired old rocker trying to stay relevant—and failing."
