I booked on the evening of my stay short notice, upon arrival I checked in & was shown to my room … a gracious little room aptly named ‘ The shoe box’ so cute everything I needed as a solo traveler. 「The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet at night and couldnt hear anything when breakfast started in the morning. Peacocks outside werent too vocal early morning so we got plenty of sleep. Staff were outstanding, friendly, polite and smiley. Breakfast was very tasty, only slight moan was portions could have been bigger but maybe thats us being greedy. We will definitely come back and stay again, we loved it」

「Wow what a setting. I know it’s only been open for 6 weeks but it is an amazing hotel. Sea view room and the whole room was amazing, huge bed which was so comfortable. 「We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. 」
