「We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.」

「It's a fairly basic 3* hotel. It's right in the services, so handy for grabbing a bite and the have a breakfast voucher option for £7.50 that gets you £10 to spend in the services. 「The shower didn’t work in my room, I tried to get it working for 10 minutes but no joy. I told the receptionist as I left and she said I must have been doing it wrong because it definitely works. I didn’t want to argue with her as she clearly just wanted to be right. Other than that the hotel is fine but could do with updating.」
