「Great place to stay」

「The hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. I’m not giving 5 stars because The bed in our room, although big, was not really comfortable, and the door had a gap that made a whistling noise with the wind all throughout the night.」

「We stayed one night at Parkside. It was very quiet and relaxing, the bed and pillows were great. I slept better than I do at home. The last time we stayed at a hotel in Barrie, we had trouble sleeping due to noise. The location is convenient, walked to a grocery store (15 min), there were also lots of restaurant choices nearby. Overall we had a wonderful experience, will definitely be back in the future.」

「We had an amazing stay at the Captain's House. We were treated so well by our hosts and made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The house is absolutely adorable, decorated beautifully. 「Staff was really friendly! We had an issue with the heat but it was promptly resolved. We stayed in an apartment with 2 bedrooms, the unit is smaller than it looked on the picture, and since we were 6, there wasnt much space, but just to sleep it was enough. It had a well equiped kitchen with stove, microwave, dinnerware and cutlery, which was good. Place was clean. Would definitely stay there again.」

「The management were quite polite and pleasant to deal with. When I was checking out, I mentioned that a bulb in the room was burnt out in one of the lamps and the manager (or owner?) was very apologetic. The room was about the most reasonably priced in the area but the room and sheets, etc all seemed quite clean so I was happy.」

「The property is older. Couple leaks around the building. Nice big parking lot but some areas were bumpy with potholes. The pool area was very cool with the layout of the breakfast and lounge area. The hot tub needs some cleaning. Water was murky and smelled funny but the pool was nice. I liked the room we stayed in with the king bed plus the couch. Very spacious. Liked how there was two sinks very convenient. One drain was backed up and drained slow. The shower head needs some TLC as the water...
