「The property was close to the beach. Our King Suite had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating, especially the manager who stayed calm and reassuring when i thought i had jewelery missing. 「Can’t wait to return. Homey and comfortable. Our host was absolutely fabulous and was extremely interesting. He spent a lot of time answering our questions and just being helpful. It’s only a minute or two from the highway, but you’d never know it. Quiet. Feels remote. They have fishing poles, kayaks, life preservers, bicycles, and tons of books (especially local titles) games, on and on. Wonderful deck off each room to watch the water and wildlife. This place is a jewel. Recommend it highly. 」

「Our stay at Beach Rd Bed and Breakfast was amazing! The house is perfectly located across from the beach which provided amazing sunrise and sunset views! The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch! A 10/10 experience!! 」

「I really enjoyed our stay here. We were the only guests that night. The only thing I didn't like was the Deckside room has a nice jetted tub which makes for a really bad shower. Water runs around the edge of the tub and onto the floor. I didn't like mopping the floor. The room is beautiful and the house is charming. The breakfast was fine and the proximity to the beach and the pier was wonderful. I would stay again.」

「My family and I stayed at this property and really enjoyed ourselves. I think our favorite parts of our stay were the screened in porch and the hassle free walk to the beach. Unfortunately one of our days got rained out but we felt safe and comfortable inside of the house. 」

「The Sanderling is absolutely magical. I entered check in and was greeted by Lisa who is so helpful and kind. Our king suite was roomy and offered amazing views and the decor is beautiful. The two pools, beach set up with chairs are umbrella are included. The property has a Lifesaving station restaurant. It is amazing to see how the rescues occurred off the coast years ago and see the museum pieces on display in the restaurant. We spent two nights and truly relaxed. I can’t wait to return.」

「Our family (kids 11 and 8 yrs) had a wonderful time. Can’t beat the location or view of the beach. 2 mile walk to town, if you bike, it would take you 10 min. The place was very clean. My kids loved the game room and being able to walk right out to the beach. They were disappointed the pool was under construction, but it is the off season. I appreciated a free laundry facility and having simple kitchen supplies. The place it dated, but it’s like visiting your grandma. If you do have any issues...

「The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...
