"The stay went well overall except for the front desk lady working the early shift, very rude. We requested an extended check out and it seemed to upset her for some reason. Was really rude to my son that tried to talk to her. She also followed us outside as an intimidating tactic because we were arranging our bags into the car. Came outside with her phone and just kept looking at us like she was filming, taking pictures."

"This hotel is fine for a day or two, but the cracks really start to show if you're there for a while. It's relatively well protected from road noise, but the walls are thin enough that you'll hear normal conversations in neighboring rooms. Doors slam easily. A lot of doors in shared spaces get stuck frequently, including stairwell and side entrances/exits. I don't know what the housekeeping situation is supposed to be, but during my week-long stay, housekeeping came by on the second and third day only. My used towels were not collected either day, and once a cup of water on my bedside table was knocked over and the mess just left there. There are phones in the rooms, but they're disconnected. It felt like the hotel was updated, but in a way that just covered up small issues instead of addressing them."

"The Hotel is old, other than that it was nice. The bar was great, the food was good, most staff was good, the pool is very small, but good."

"We were gone all day, our room wasn’t cleaned until the evening. We were only given one bath towel for two people. We did not receive clean glasses for second day. The day bartender had no clue what she was doing. She didn’t know how to make a proper Chilton! She messed up order after order while we sat at the bar. She had trouble ringing up orders…what a disaster. She kept blaming it on it being busy- there were maybe 16-20 people. The second night the bartenders were great and it was very busy! The Overton used to be top notch…hopefully things will get turned around."

"The room was clean, the staff was helpful, breakfast was ok, the AC was off when i arrived, but I didn’t have to turn it on. The only thing I didn’t like was that they gave me a room with a door connecting it to the next room."

"The manager there was a little tiny man with a terrible attitude. Flat affect and was not welcoming or approachable at all. The room (150) smelled like a moldy high school locker room. I went to the front desk and asked if they could do something and I was handed a can of Lysol. The room and the property were clean, the hotel itself could be marvelous with some upgrades and new managment. The bed was aweful and pillows were flat. I went from the bed to sofa bed and eventually just slept on the floor. I say slept but "

"There was no ice in the ice machine, we had no services the whole time we stayed there, had to go the front desk and ask for toilets, the parking lot was trashed , had roaches crawling in the bathroom and sleeping area and in the fridge. I was bad staying there"
