「When you walk into the lobby we felt we’d walked into a bar with loud music blaring. The staff needs a little more training as we were told housekeeping comes daily. No there is a refresh not full cleaning. When booking there was no mention of a daily $50.00 fee to be charged for incidentals, like valet parking which makes sense. Usually a cc is taken.」

「The location of the room was not good. It was above the garage exit. The second floor looked unsafe. The balcony door could not be closed and was broken.」

「Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach」

「Room was booked months in advance when I arrive to check in the wait time took forever and when I finally got to the room, I opened it and it had not even been clean from the last day then the representative said they were going to see if someone can clean it, which they said no one could, and then called the manager, who said they were all sold out, and there were no other rooms available at their other hotel either. I had to clean my entire room, stripped the bed wash the shower floors, sinks...

「I got a last-minute, last room on a Wednesday. The price was good for the location. Despite the (tacky) haunted mansion attraction across the street, and public restrooms located in their parking lot. This is an older, but clean, property that It is right on the boardwalk, steps away from the beach, and closer to the pier than the Neptune statue (but not far!). There is a small restaurant that serves expensive, for what it is worth bottled beer bar onsite. I did not eat at the restaurant...

「Good staff, and the check‑in process was smooth. They should mention upfront the additional resort fee of about $16 at the time of booking for better transparency, instead of charging it during check‑in. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. Great location and an awesome view of the beach from the balcony! A few things to mention: one of the elevators wasn’t working (not sure why), so the wait times were long. There also weren’t many breakfast options. But overall, it was a nice stay — great...

「Positive: early check in. Friendly staff willing to help when asked. Negatives: crumbs all over the room. Fridge leaking water and not cooling properly. Tv not working. Sliding doors hard to open and close. Neighboring room had guests smoking pot and cigarettes on the balcony and the smell wafted into our room. Extra door lock somehow engaged and locked us out of the room. Uncomfortable couch and chairs.」
