「Very disappointed...walking into the facility and the first thing that you notice is it reeked of cigar/cigarette smoke. But yet you have stickers saying that it was a smoke free facility...BS. Not just a little, at the entrance, but all the way through the hotel and room, and I was up on the third floor. I had to go to the grocery store and get some Febreeze to get the smell out of the room. As far as first appearances, it was the 4th of July weekend and the grass wasn't even mowed.」

「My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.」

「To be frank, we were skeptical pulling into Estherville about how nice the hotel might be. We were very pleasantly surprised at how updated and clean the hotel is. Very nice pool and hot tub, breakfast was on the simpler side but did not disappoint. Staff was polite and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!」

「There was poop behind the toilet and what it seemed to look like vomit behind the tv dresser. Not sure what it was exactly but assuming its pet friendly I would like to think it was cat or dog poop」

「The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.」

「The resort itself was ok. The weather was off and on with rain. The afternoon that we checked in was beautiful, so we were terribly disappointed to find the outdoor water park closed. The next day, they were open, but the weather was cool and it rained off and on. Just not a great experience. We had a suite next to us with children that were screamers. Our room was clean, but the armoire was old and rattled when we walked around. The shower was noisy. Overall, they simply need to update and fix...
