The resort itself was ok. The weather was off and on with rain. The afternoon that we checked in was beautiful, so we were terribly disappointed to find the outdoor water park closed. The next day, they were open, but the weather was cool and it rained off and on. Just not a great experience. We had a suite next to us with children that were screamers. Our room was clean, but the armoire was old and rattled when we walked around. The shower was noisy. Overall, they simply need to update and fix things. It was a very expensive stay, and not worth the money.

Liked: Staff & service
The staff at front desk were helpful. The condo had goldfish cracker on the floor, and row of staples on the floor. It also had a pretzel in the pullout, and red candy stuck to the bottom of the pullout mattress.
We stayed at Bridges Bay Resort last year and had such a good experience that we chose to come back again this year. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but we were disappointed by one issue. The resort shut off the water to fill the pool without any advance notice to guests. As a result, we were unable to take showers or use the water during that time, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
We understand that maintenance or operational needs sometimes require temporary interruptions, but better communication would have made a big difference. A simple notice letting guests know the water would be unavailable would have allowed everyone to plan accordingly.
We still enjoy the resort and appreciate many of its amenities, which is why we returned, and we hope they improve communication with guests when situations like this arise.
When we arrived we saw a sign saying the pool was closed for repairs, this was the outdoor lazy river which we were looking forward to. I asked about a discount and was given none

No pool was empty on holiday weekend and hot tub was cold
We were terribly disappointed to learn after we arrived that the outdoor pool was closed for repairs. Our main intention was to lounge by and in the outdoor pool. Although we had access to the indoor waterpark it was definitely for kids and young families, not for two senior citizens like us. The hotel did offer a 10% discount which we accepted.
Also the hotel clerk didn't bother to tell us that there was parking available much closer to our room which we discovered on our own, and also didn't tell us there was an elevator available to the restaurants on the back side of the hotel. After climbing the very long set of stairs the first time, we discovered the elevator on our own (which was through two sets of doors after going out the backside of our hotel.
Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay very much.
You might as well go somewhere cheaper where you can actually use some of the amenities. What’s the point of being the most expensive hotel if you get absolutely nothing for it? I knew there was no breakfast whatever but now they don’t include more than a couple water park passes per room and you have to pay EVERY day now instead of once for the whole stay. Also no more zip line passes either. It’s just an extremely expensive and overrated hotel now. Stay somewhere else with a pool and free breakfast for cheaper and if you want to go to the water park just to pay for a day. Ridiculous. Will never go back.
Our stay at this resort was very disappointing, especially considering the price and expectations of a family resort. The walls were incredibly thin, to the point where it sounded like neighboring guests were in our room. Sleeping was difficult because we could hear conversations, doors, and constant noise throughout the night.
The bed was also extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was overly springy and the frame felt loose and wobbly. The balcony railing was noticeably loose as well, which felt unsafe. The outdoor furniture was old, dirty, and constantly wet from gutter water dripping onto it.
Cleanliness was another major issue. We found pork rinds on the floor from previous guests shortly after checking in, which immediately made us question how well the room had been cleaned. The toilet flushed very weakly and eventually plugged. Maintenance fixed it, but left behind a mess in the bathroom without cleaning it up.
Housekeeping also does not service the room during your stay, which was frustrating and not clearly communicated ahead of time. The water park itself was fun for the kids, but getting into it was chaotic because of terrible pedestrian traffic flow and overcrowding.
We also booked a room advertised to sleep six people but only received two water park passes, which felt misleading. Overall, the resort felt poorly maintained and not worth the cost.
Loved the lakeview. Check in was 2 star, but check out was just placing keys in a box which is great. We were searching for a place for a family getaway and the mornings person was Very helpful.
The pool was enjoyable but I wish the entrance area are wider for convenience.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Got there and was told there was no cleaning service. That was fine we were only there two days. What was not ok was exchanging towels and the lady out our dirty towels on top of the clean ones she gave us then also handed me her cleaning rag. Televisions did not work and room was super stuffy. Bunk bed was not made so my niece had to make it. Hot tub was down for maintenance even when we called two days before. It was a planned maintenance shut down. Front desk gal could not leave front desk to deliver anything to other buildings. Overall not worth the money.
there was a collage event going on in town this weekend and collage kids were very disruptive till 3 to 4 am both nights they had cops walking the halls because of this all night but they were no help either
the staff did nothing to rectify the problem
