"The view is amazing and the pools are wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful — thank you so much for organizing such a wide range of activities. The margarita class and float yoga were my favourites and definitely highlights of the stay. The food is excellent as well; I highly recommend the Italian restaurant, Aglio. It would be great if the pool water could be a bit warmer, and the rooms are not very soundproof. We could clearly hear people walking, talking loudly, and noise from the next room around midnight. Overall, a great stay with beautiful views, fun activities, and excellent dining! :) "

"Akuazul Adults Only Resort is a really nice hotel with so much potential. When I stayed, it was under some construction, but you can already see how beautiful it’s going to be once everything is complete, this place should be looking incredible by 2026. The resort has a very unique style that sets it apart from more traditional hotels. My favourite places to hang out were the beach area, with all the funky outdoor furniture, and the rooftop glass pool, which was such a cool and memorable experience. The beach is on the smaller side, but that actually makes it feel very private and peaceful. There’s lots of creative wicker-style furniture made of sticks, including swings and multiple lounging areas that make it easy to relax and soak up the sun. A special shoutout to Jose! He was an exceptional waiter and truly went above and beyond. He would serve you no matter where you were on the property, always with a great attitude. Food and drink prices were very reasonable for a resort. Overall, Akuazul already has a great vibe, and once renovations are complete, it’s going to be something really special."
