I like this resort, all would give it 5 stars, but not the sales staff at check-out. Overall, the experience was very good. From front desk service, restaurants to room services. However, one experience significantly affected our impression. We joined Tour, where the sales team introduced the resort membership. I understand this is part of their job, and although it took up half a day, we were respectful and understanding. At the end of the tour, we bought one $299 discounted future-stay voucher. The staff repeatedly tried to persuade us to buy two, suggesting we give one to family or friends. We politely declined, saying we wanted to try it first. What made us uncomfortable was that we were repeatedly asked, “Don’t you have family and friends?” This question felt inappropriate and created unnecessary pressure. Unfortunately, the same situation happened again at checkout. After confirming our room number and asking about our stay, another salesperson again pushed another $299 membership for family, and repeated the same question: “you don’t have family and friends?”This left me very uncomfortable, what’s the answer for this question? especially at checkout, which should be a positive final moment of the stay. I understand sales goals and respect the effort of the staff, but this approach—especially using personal questions to pressure guests—was unpleasant. The aggressive sales behavior at checkout significantly lowered our overall impression of an otherwise excellent hotel.

Resort is so big, shuttle carts were not so convenient. Only one Italian restaurant food was good. Most restaurants food not meet standards. Specially the MOMO Teppanyaki, hardest to make reservation, the food was cold and all small portions - a half bowl fired rice with 6 pieces beef cubes. The marking signed us for a new facility presentation for 1.5 hour, but it took about 2.5 hours, spending half day to push to buy their membership.

Great service fresindly Great service, friendly staff, and the hotel is clean. The lobby is great; on the other hand, the rooms are in separate buildings and a bit outdated, so lots of walking! The beach itself is clean, but the water is murky, had lots of chopped-up seaweed, and larger tractors driving by picking up seaweed on the daily at all hours.

We had an amazing stay at Moon Palace Cancún! There is truly so much for kids to do — our family was never bored for a second. The restaurants were fantastic with so many options to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was how seriously they take food allergies. My husband has both gluten and dairy allergies, and every single restaurant was incredibly careful and accommodating. No matter where we ate, the staff made sure he felt safe and taken care of, which gave us so much peace of mind. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the people. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. The service was outstanding. The only watch-out is that they do strongly encourage you to attend a membership presentation. Based on our experience, we can see why people join — it’s a wonderful property — but we personally prefer not to feel locked into anything long term. Overall, an incredible family vacation and we would absolutely return!

Bedding and pillows smelled moldy Every single person in the lobby would approach us trying to sell us something or get us to go on a tour of the more expensive resort; after we told them no like 10x they still called our room and woke us up in the morning and kept persisting; at the end of the trip someone asked us for a review and when we told him, he apologized for the “pushiness” and proceeded to try to sell us on putting down a $300 deposit for a future stay. This place wreaked of a used car dealership and we will never return because of it. The food was amazing and the restaurant and entertainment staff are awesome but I’d rather pay more to enjoy my vacation and not be constantly given the hard upsell on everything. The staff at the Sunrise playroom were great; the Nizuc playroom staff were rude and after they lost my daughter, they didn’t seem to care at all and then treated her like garbage the next time she was there. Also we personally prefer a smaller walkable resort, here you have to take a golf cart almost everywhere.

Room was clean and grounds were gorgeous. Nice to be able to take advantage of 3 resorts . Food was OK. Tried to sell us pretty hard on a resort package but gave us lots of credits to use at the spa etc so it was ok. Spa was nice. Ppl were very friendly and helpful. Would go back! .( wish the pool was warmer but I’m a wimp with cold water)

Clean hotel with quick room service and an awesome staff. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. However, the timeshare sales approach was a bit too aggressive. “No” should mean no. I had just arrived and was heading to grab a cocktail when they tried to redirect me to “finish check-in” with the timeshare team — which was really just a sales pitch to purchase a timeshare. The airport shuttle is not complimentary, which was disappointing. The resort is family-friendly, but the music selection wasn’t very diverse. The food was okay. Overall, a decent stay, perfect for family with young kids.

The Moon Palace Nizuc was incredible! All inclusive is the way to go! The rooms, the staff, the facilities, the food, the activities and the beaches were amazing! My wife and I had an amazing time and we are coming back next year!

What a great place for vacation. Excellent for couples, families, large and small groups. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. There is an abundance of restaurant choices, both elegant and casual. The food is very good. The grounds are meticulously maintained as is the beach. So many activities to choose from amd there is even a minigolf course. Could not recommend this place enough. Can't get bored here even if you tried.

Clean rooms, pleasant staff, the grounds are gorgeous, water park a bit disappointing staff on the Grand are not as pleasant ( or polite) as at the Nizuc. Do not fall for the trap of watching the presentation not even for free perks

My family and I had great time. The staff were extremely attentive. Although the weather was a bit chilly we had a ball. We left the icebox of NYC. My second time being at the moon palace. It did not disappoint! Will be back!
