"We had a great family stay at Arden House. The place is spacious, very well kept, and the breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy nearby. From the property, we enjoyed views of the racetrack and the world’s oldest continuously played golf course — even in the rain, people were out playing! A direct bus to Edinburgh’s Princes Street stops right outside and takes less than 40 minutes. Musselburgh’s town center is also worth a visit for a taste of Scottish small-town charm. "Lovely guesthouse in a quiet upscale area of Portabello. 15 min walk to the sea and shops. 10 min bus to the Edinburgh Center 2,20 for the bus. We ubered it at night 9,80. We had a 1dbl/1sgl room 3 adults. Small but cozy. Free parking on site depending on bookings. "

"The property was very clean and conveniently attached to a restaurant/bar. The staff were AMAZING! The young lady at the reception desk was full of smiles and let us borrow a uk plug for our chargers! We only brought America plugs! Also, Sara Jean in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very welcome and gave us some good advice for what to do in York! It was such a great experience! I recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot out in the country! "

"Beautiful hotel on university grounds a stone throw away from the Royal Mile with great bus connections. Staff were really polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to when we left. Our room was spacious but cozy, with a very comfy bed. "A lovely apt to have as a base. Easily walked to bus stops for the hop on hop off buses. Next to Holyrood Palace and Kings Gallery. You might even see protestors at the Scottish Parliament from your window as well as Arthur's seat. Abbey Strand had everything we needed and I would stay longer if I could. They have a wonderful laundry/ common lounge area. "
