Had a two night stay which was great. Huge room with super comfortable bed. Excellent shower, probably the best we've had on our UK holiday. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and all the staff were nice, polite and attentive Five star stay and would stay again

Staff were great. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend the garlic bread with cheese. Comfortable bed in a nice place. Easy to check in and out. Just walk inside and ask a staff member for the key.

Checkout was late, I got there at 3pm and had to wait an extra 20 minutes to get into my room. The cleaners came into my room and walked in on me both morning.

Super hotel, close to the harbour & beach. Rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. This is our second visit here, would definitely recommend.

Extremely clean, very nice staff and pleasant building. Only complaint is there wasn’t a microwave/little cooker in the room for food, beyond that highly recommended.

Gorgeous room, and the bus stop outside had direct links into the centre of Edinburgh. The bar downstairs was a bit loud during the evenings but was likely just due to the World Cup! Amazing place to stay.

Clean and comfy rooms with a great shower but above the bar/function room with live music & parties both nights. Luckily we were not wanting an early night. Ate at hotel bar both nights as convenient and food was fine

Staff were lovely. Got us into our room as soon as the housekeeper had finished cleaning it. Bed was a little softer than preferred and there was an event in the function room that was quite noisy until just past midnight but otherwise a comfortable stay and convenient bus stops into the city right outside.

Our room was large - excellent shower and all clean. Bed was very comfortable, although the base needed attention - looked quite unsightly with chipboard showing. Had an excellent evening meal. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room was kept clean, as was the rest of the building. Access to the restaurant and bar was great. The hotel itself was also nearby lots of other places that was nice for our stay, such as other restaurants, the bus stop, grocery store and the beach. It was a nice place to stay away from the busyness of Edinburgh, but still access the city through a 20-30 minute but ride. Only negative was the mattress wasn't in amazing condition

The staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we asked for. However, whilst in the bar there was a long wait to be served and guests were having to locate the bar assistant from other parts of the hotel. It may be advantageous to instruct a staff member to be present permamntly, especially when busy. On the Saturday it was busy and the restaurant ran out of eight basic foods items' resulting in two options available. This was at 7.30pm. Please note we did very much enjoy our stay, but these things would refrain us from recommending you to our friends. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Clean, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant staff. No secure parking for motorcycles although the manager did try to organise a solution. We did , unfortunately pick a stay when a function was on and the noise from the guests below (around the stairwell) was loud. Some you win, some you lose!
