"Decent stay no real complaints "

"It was not a bad room at all. The ocean view was great and we all enjoyed the proximity to the pool areas. We were on the 2nd floor so easy to just walk up and down for the few days without waiting for the elevators. Kids had such a fun time at the water areas. Good place over all and since this is in north Myrtle beach - it was quieter which we liked a lot, I wish the on the beach cabanas could have been open longer - they close at 5 pm every day. But loved the calmer beach and how we could just relax. The rooms and bathrooms are dated but completely adequate. I loved having a full size fridge in the room so we could store and heat it up in the microwave. There was a stove and oven too but we didn’t use it. All in all we enjoyed our stay. "

"Be warned - It's not just one large hotel...there are 3 or 4 bldgs. Don't get the Jamaiican - dirty and small. Very deceiving!! I know of 2 families that complained and were able to move to a nicer bldg...after being charged another $250.00...I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!! "

"Kind of a gross resort. Check-in was late and the front desk staff snippily said check in “starts” at 4, not guaranteed to be ready at 4. The common areas were gross and dirty and smelled poorly. Amenities closed earlier than advertised. Room was quite dirty: a man’s swim trunks in the safe, skittles on the floor. Telephone didn’t work, remote for tv was missing, those these were fixed after I managed to get through to front desk. Great location and views of the ocean, though. There are certainly better resorts for a similar price in MB; this one was just fair/poor. "

"Let's go with the positives!!! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Beds comfy, ungraded furniture and refrigerator. We stayed here 3 yrs ago and loved it! Older property, great location, rooms with no frills but clean. This stay, eh I was disappointed. The check in was virtual, like an Air BNB. The interior of the room was either caulked or drywall patched to the hilt. The tub had a very slow drain, notified the property and it was repaired quickly. We noticed gnats in the bathroom and the pool was open but looked like it could use a good vacuuming. The location is great, the response from management was rapid but could use a bit more tidding. "
