「This was a last minute decision to try to stay at the beach for the weekend. The beach access was literally right across the street. I could have thrown a rock from the hotel and it would have landed in the ocean. It is a old school beach hotel from back in the day. Inside is updated! Very quiet part of the beach. A great deal in my opinion!」

「They failed to communicate in advance that the hotel was under construction because a guest flooded out the 3rd floor. I dropped my AirPod on the floor between the night stand and bed and there was soooooo much dust piled on the wall and bed board. There was hair inside my sheets at the foot of the bed. Luckily, I was there one night but the sight of that made me gag because I didn’t see it until I was literally packing to leave. Breakfast only meat option was pork sausage.」

「The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in.」

「We (myself, wife, and 2 children) booked a room at this place for 1 night. About 10pm, the AC stopped working. After calling twice, the desk finally sent someone to look at the AC. The maintenance man showed up with no tools, and simply said he couldn't fix it. I called the front desk and was told there were no more rooms available but he could move me to a suite at another building. 「It was the worst experience I’ve ever had; I paid for a week but only stayed one day before leaving and cancelling the rest of the trip because the power in the entire suite would cut out every time I turned on the microwave. Now I’m waiting for a refund. If you have any other option, run away from the Caravelle Resort Tower.」

「I like this location as I’ve stayed here before. Bathrooms were pretty nasty with trash and hair everywhere. Not sure they mopped or cleaned the toilets before we checked in. There was also hair in the fridge? No dish soap or paper towels which was a little disappointing considering it has a full kitchen with dishwasher.
