Our stay in the suit wasn’t pleasant. Starting with the cleaning, outside, it looks like a clean, nice, and modern resort, but in the inside it appeared like an old building, especially in our room. Our room wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked, as it contained dust, the bedroom was humid, in the shower, we saw black cracks, and we had to take a shower with sandals. Our first night was awful, as we kept hearing people from almost everywhere screaming and yelling. We also heard that this was a smoke-free resort, but we would smell and see that our neighbors would smoke weed and mariguana. The vending machines didn’t work at all when we wanted a snack.

If you are a senior pick out of season times. This resort is "family focused" and it is difficult to enjoy the ammenities when families flood in. There is some walkable eateries nearby. Grocery store about a mile away. Coffee shop inside but hours vary. Not a place for peace and quiet. Rooms large but no daily housekeeping. Outdoor pools not heated. Require transportation to get around. Public bus stops at 52nd ave.

We have stayed at Dunes village every year for the past 7+ years and I can honestly say the rooms are outdated. The hotel is not as appealing as it used to be. I enjoy the location and amenities but the property needs major updates.

Its a nice resort my only complaint was the morning after checkin a guy was right outside our room using a drill in the wall which woke us up at 7am and we had a service dog with us who was spooked by the sound but then outside our balcony door by the pool at 8am was two maintenance guys using leaf blowers and weed eaters so we could not get any sleep due to all the noise i did bring this to the attention of front desk and they did offer us 2 free nights on them which was more then fair to me we did however enjoy our room it was clean for the most part we did notice paint missing from diff spots on the walls and door and we noticed a broken spot on the frame of the mirror in the bathroom but over all it was a nice place they have a big indoor water park for kids with slides and a lazy river and hot tub which we didn't get to use due to all the activities we had planned with our son also at check in they charge you an amenities fee of $100 which is not on the website you won't know about it until you arrive on site i think things like that should be posted on the website or told about it when booking that way folks can plan accordingly

bad managment and rude he or she both elevators stop working and you have to take the stairs with all my luggage and the stairs got to go frome 3 differents case to get the floor level where my room at and they have no body to help us was only me and my 9 years old daughter and I'm person with heart failyer I can't take the stairs so we spend our first day at the loby trying to figure out the situation with out any appologize or any professional hosting they were rude and mean but I'm stock and my resevation non refundable beside the charged me hotel fee but my under standing I paid expedia totle everythings includes that ?

Dunes Village was ok. If you have a big family with children maybe 14 and under this would be a good place for you because of the water parks, the lazy river and the pools outside for the smaller kids. The hotel needs to be renovated all over. We were in room 142 and the bathroom def needs upgrading really bad, the top cover had a few stains on it, they didn’t clean that well bc the tub had hair in it, not chunks but pieces to where you can tell they did a half job cleaning. I was in town for the weekend for a basketball tournament and just wanted my son to be around with his teammates. Overall I didn’t really care for the hotel. I probably won’t stay here again!!
