Here's a short review for the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel: My recent stay at the Anderson Ocean Club Hotel was a mixed experience. Upon checking in, I was initially disappointed with my room; the carpet appeared dirty and the table surfaces were noticeably unclean. I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, who promptly and courteously moved me to a much-improved room, which I appreciated. However, the next day, a request for fresh towels went unfulfilled, and after a considerable wait, I ended up having to retrieve them myself. It also seemed that the information provided about hotel amenities was inconsistent; I overheard another guest being informed of features I was not told about, suggesting a lack of standardized communication. Overall, the level of customer service felt dependent on the individual staff member rather than a consistent company policy. While some staff were very helpful, the inconsistency detracted from an otherwise pleasant location.

This was our first time staying at the Anderson Ocean and Beach Club. We really like the air conditioned elevators and the security of needing to scan your room card on the elevator in order to enter the floor you wanted to be taken too. The room was absolutely the nicest we've stayed in yet. We love the full size kitchen with all the appliances provided. We definitely recommend this place and we will be staying there in the future.

The rooms need to make many changes. The washer and dryer didn’t work properly. The lock of the door was about to come off. The communication wasn’t the best as I asked for towels which I never received. There wasn’t a lock on the door of the bathroom. Overall the hotel had a nice view of the beach and the pools were nice. The ambiance of the hotel was nice, however; the rooms need to be changed and modernized. The photos of the hotel were nothing like the actual hotel, especially the rooms.

They had to close a pool 3 days in a row because of a "accident" . Free dvd rental .....NOT, it doesnt actually let you play it . At least a 15 to 20 min walk to any restaurant or attraction. Miniature golf corse very neglected. And DO NOT sign up for the Hilton program, its a scam and they just want your money and three hours of your time.

I was booked from July 5 thru July 12. The location of the property is ideal to major attractions. I thought that the Anderson was a fully Hilton Property. Upon arrival, I discovered that it is not fully a Hilton Property. I was booked in a room that had an independent owner and consequently, the room was not updated. The furnishings were mediocre at best. I asked for an updated room, accommodation could not be made. I had several issues with the room and when I contacted management via the text application feature, I received word that someone would contact me. No one contacted me. The next day, I went to the front desk to address the matter again. Again, I was told that someone would come to my room to address the matter. Again, no one came. I called downstairs to have coffee restocked. I was told someone would bring it up. I'm still waiting on the coffee. The housekeeping staff that serviced the 19th floor were rude and appeared like any request was bothering them. When I asked to have my room serviced, I was told that my room was serviced the day before, that was not true. I had to explain that no one had come to do anything to the room. They finally came on day 3. The exterior grounds could certainly use some attention. Mulch was old and needed to be replaced, exterior trash cans were overflowing. The day of checkout, we had no water and the elevators were not working. Thid is the last time that I will stay at the property.

There was a power outage and as a result there was no water to the entire facility with 1 elevator running. This was unfortunate time and patience and professuonalim was understandable. Our room had a filthy tub at check in our bathroom sink was stopped up with a broken stopper. We did not get oir roomed the entire time and had to hunt down linen. When aske to speak to management we were given the run around. Very disappointing.

We have stayed here three different times over the past 12 years. It is starting to show its age a bit, but is still a nice hotel. Our room could have been cleaned better. The pillows on the easy chairs were discolored from what appeared to be age/dirt. The beach and pool area was very nice. Overall, our room was quiet, the AC worked great, and we had an enjoyable experience. The front desk staff was very attentive and check in and check out were quick and easy!

The property was dated but clean. It needs renovations bad! The sofa in our seating area had a horrible scent. The front desk said they would take care of it, while we were out for the day. That never happened. Overall, it was ok.

The pictures were very outdated for this resort. It was extremely expensive for what you got. The pool is blocked by the building, there are very limited chairs to sit at pool. The beach charges 55 per chair to sit. The rooms are a horrible color, outdated, horrible smell inside. Rethink your stay here

there was no maid service to replenish towels, coffee needs , general cleaning of room , the room was not cleaned thoroughly when we arrived, we had sand all over the room from the beach every day , which some of it wound up in our bed , ceiling paint and spackle was falling onto the floor a/c was very loud coffee maker had problems brewing and the smell of marijuana every day and night. front desk not very knowledgeable we asked questions and they had no clue how to respond , check in ,we walked in and three people were at the desk and only one person could help us while there was a line , the two individuals just stood there doing nothing??? not very impressed with the hotel would not recommend it,

The property is directly on the water, which can't be beat. There is also a mini golf course across the street which is included with your stay. There are several pools and a lazy river which is really nice and allows for options. The spa was also wonderful! This is definitely a dated property. I also wish the pools were facing the ocean and not the wall of the hotel.

The stay was ok but the room I stayed in had terrible problem with the moister and condensation we were wet and clammy the entire stay you could feel the slickness on the floor when you walked. Pieces of the ceiling were falling. Yesterday day when we were unpacking our clothes some still seemed to be damp. This was the only thing that dampened our stay.

Our Oceanside view was the best. Employees were very professional and helpful. Location was great as we didn’t have to uber very far for anything we wanted to see or do. Would gladly come back again. 4 day stay.

Service was not great. Never any towels at the gym. Come lunch time to towels for the pool. You cAht check in till 5 pm but they want you out by 10 am

This is a really nice place with friendly and accommodating staff. The only gripe I have about this place is not having personal Accra the luggage carts. You were indirectly forced to use bell hop service in very unnecessary conditions.
