「This is a beautiful old home with very comfortable accommodations and an amazing staff! The house is old so expect some creaky floors but it is clean, beautifully decorated and maintained, and it was a treat to stay in a place that is clearly well loved. 」

「Breakfast was great. Wonderful restoration of historic property. The rooms are very nicely furnished. Would, however, choose a room not directly at the front of home on first floor as the traffic noice is somewhat of a distraction when trying to sleep. Would not recommend “Adeline” room for this reason. All other rooms should be fine in terms of for mentioned traffic noice. But would highly recommend this wonderful stay. 」

「This bnb is wonderful. The hosts are so welcoming and easy to talk to. Breakfast was soooo good and if you’re lucky enough to score on the scones get ready for the best you’ve ever eaten imo. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and private. It felt like home. The pool was perfect and just relaxing in an environment that’s so peaceful was exactly what we needed in such a noisy world. Will definitely be back! Thank you for a memorable stay.」

「If you want a quiet, historical experience, then this is the venue. It's not new, shiny - but that is not why you go there. It is a beautiful Tudor-style hotel, with old fixtures, antique windows, and the charm of a storybook castle. The innkeeper is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. We missed peak colors by a week or two and are considering a quick trip back! Buffet breakfast was just right.」
