「We liked that it was so secluded and quiet yet close to South Haven. It was a little smaller than expected but overall super cute, quiet, peaceful stay.」

「I have enjoyed a stay at Budget Inn with my family. Room was clean, free parking was available and breakfast in the morning was provided. Lake Michigan is 30 minutes drive away; 20 minutes driving through fields and forrest and 10 minutes driving on highway to the most popular tourist attraction town. So if you don’t mind to drive a little bit you get very reasonable accommodations.」

「Room wasn't cleaned fully. Dried sink, tub, and toilet cleaner still stuck to porcelain. Pubic hair on sink and tub. No hand or bathsoap stocked, no toilet paper stocked. Dirty sheets still in a pile on desk. Cleaning supplies including a bottle labeled "weed killer" left out on counter. Dirty toilet scrub brush in garbage bag on floor. I was soaked to red when I arrived I was didn't want to wait for the hassle I'd room reassignment. Place reeks of weed and very loud group of game watchers...

「My check in and out dates got messed up, but the woman in charge changed them right away without question, very nice and helpful. Clean room and hotel, will stay again when I visit south haven again. Thank you.」

「Great staff, and great property, but very limited in local dining, especially if you get in later. Some fast food locations looked so dilapidated, I thought they were abandoned. No kitchenette at this stay. Expect to visit the next town Portage for any supplies.」
