"The location of this hotel is great. It is very close to Paddington Station which means and easy way to get anywhere. For example, it was 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The room was quiet and clean. My only complaint, no airconditioning and we had record highs of 30+ degrees (over 90F). The breakfast was a proper English one, no powdered eggs here. The staff was excellent, very nice and helpful"

"Staff were super helpful and friendly. General room amenities were as expected and everything was well stocked. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the decor and maintenance. The soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom were not well mounted onto the wall and would fall off the wall if used with just one hand. The carpets look like something out of the 80s and the air conditioning really doesn't work. Not good on the hottest May day on record! However, for the price, it was a great location and the friendliness of the staff makes up for the lack of investment in the property."

"Not a bad room for the price, clean enough, just a few negative points- no tea/coffee in room which I was surprised about, the ensuit floor had puddles of water when using the shower. My main issue was waiting around for the lifts for 5+ minutes only for it to be full and can’t get in and then wait for it to go then press call button again and wait another couple of minutes to squeeze into the next one."

"This is our first time to stay at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London. Fabulous is the word that describes everything about this hotel. The location is superb, amenities made our stay extremely comfortable, and the staff saw to every detail. Perez was the perfect first impression for this hotel. The minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Everyone at the front desk and concierge were so accommodating. We received a behind the scenes history tour of this hotel. Javier showed us all the details of this historic hotel. The items in our hotel refrigerator were complimentary and restocked every day. Our room was cleaned and bed made every day. There were heated floors in the bathroom, along with a heated towel rack. We were walking distance to so many landmarks. The only location where we needed a cab or tube was the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. I will say that the garden rooms are beautiful. You really do not need a view of the London Eye. We did have dinner here one night, and it was delicious. We also had afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Our future trips to London will always include this hotel. We have been spoiled and cannot stay anywhere else!!"
