「We checked in about 5pm and had the best service!! The kids were able to take advantage of the pool for about a hour before we went to grab dinner. Night shift staff 3-11 was very very helpful and accommodated all of our needs! We will be back next trip around!! Thank you for being so kind」

「The room had a musty smell. We had to ask to switch rooms. We switched, and the smell was even worse in that room. We got air freshener from the front desk. Everything just seemed old. Pool was dirty and very small. The hotel is in good distance to Busch gardens and water country. Very close to colonial Williamsburg. The place kind of skeeved me. I would not stay again」

「This review is for the Griffin hotel, not the main hotel (which was beautiful). When we booked our trip, we knew that we wouldn’t be in the main building since we were traveling with a dog. However, if we would have known what we were getting into, we would not have stayed at the Griffin hotel. It felt like the reject hotel. After checking into the main building, we drove to ours. We passed a couple of other small hotels on the property that looked nice and when we got to ours it looked...

「The staff was excellent. The space, though, was not. Everything was black and white, decorated with a minimalist eye. The lobby had a lot of wasted space. The "Bistro" was a counter with a very limited menu and a bar. There was not a dresser in our room. There was a flat table under the tv, a long plastic type box with 2 drawers that slid half way under the table, and a lot of wasted space.」
