Third time staying at Paramount Times Squares, and if I am ever going back to NYC, I would stay there again. Absolutely perfect. Location is great, staff is nice and helpful, good breakfast, and good amenities. If you are looking for something luxurious, this is not it. If you are looking for something efficient, this is the place. Recommend 10/10.

The room was fair. The hotel reminds me of a European hotel. No frills. Our Thermostat and TV didn't' work correctly and they didn't provide washcloths unless asked for. There is a $45 "resort fee" that we aren't sure what it went to other than just as a hidden fee. The location was good and the room was clean.

Location was good, lobby was cool and there is a nice coffee shop attached to the lobby. The room was VERY small, had peeling paint, and lacked basic amenities such as hand and face towels and outlets. The bath fan was nott working, and the thermostat did not seem to be working (our room was over 80 degrees in february)Typical of NYC, high price and low quality. But a fine place to rest your head after exploring manhattan.

The staff was courteous. When I checked in, there was a pretty big line but the gentleman check-in was helpful, courteous & had a great attitude. The room was bad. The water in the bathroom sink won't go down, called it in, was told to be patient with it, that it would eventually go down on it's own. The toilet was filty and the room was tiny. However, the location of the hotel is perfect & so close to time Square.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. 1 Minute zum Times Square. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein (DZ), zu zweit doch sehr beengt. Gleicht einer Besenkammer. Die Sauberkeit hat in unserem Zimmer zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Die Schranktüre war innen völlig verdreckt und klebrig, hinter der Schublade haben sich vom Gast zu vor noch Socken versteckt. Die Heizung im Bad war völlig alt und verrostet, als auch voll mit Staubmullen. Es wurde zwar täglich gereinigt aber diese Stellen wurden ausgelassen. Toilettenpapier wurde auch mal vergessen aufzufüllen. Das Frühstück ist auch eher ein Mini take away. Man erhält Gutscheine die von 07:00-11-00 Uhr eingelöst werden können. Zur Auswahl steht pro Person ein Getränk (Kaffee/ Wasser/ Orangensaft) und ein Snack ( Granola / Croissant mit Schinken und Käse oder ein Croissant mit Schinken , Käse und Ei). Alles andere was es dort in dem schönen Café gibt ist selbst zu bezahlen. Wenn man kein Frühstück braucht und eine günstige Unterkunft sucht, ohne Anforderungen von Sauberkeit oder Größe des Zimmers ist man hier richtig. Wir würden nächstes Mal ein anderes Hotel buchen, da insgesamt das Hotel nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Diese sind nicht hoch aber es sind eben doch welche da.

The Queen Superior room was literally a 12x12 box room. The heating and air was broken. Upon checking in the room was 82°, I was not to worried about it. I lowered it to 70° and set it to cool, my fiancé and I left for a couple of hours and upon our return the room was now 92°, it was also clanging loudly. I took videos of it. ° I called the front desk and they sent a technician up to check out the unit. Upon entering the room she instantly got hit with the heat & was taken back by the heat. She looked at the thermostat, went right over to the unit only to realize that the cover to the AC/Heat unit was not even screwed down. She saw that the air control wires were not connected AT ALL. She had to rewire the system right then & there. While doing this the tech burned her hand on the pipes as they where smoldering hot, she also had to turn the heat valve off to the unit. We were advised to let the front desk know if it starting clanging again and away the tech went. The unit started blowing cool finally but the room was not cooling off. The unit started sounding like a plane getting ready to take off and continued to clang loudly. I again called the front desk and the reception told me they would get back to me. We headed down to the desk. They were very reluctant to find a new room, told me the might have a cancellation. I live local enough that I was okay with a refund but then they said oh, we have rooms.... I still checked out and called Expedia.

Our hotel room was small, but typical for NYC. Not a place where I would’ve stayed with children. Trendy vibe, live music, and the connected coffee shop was great. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We were not bothered by outside noise at all. Check in was a little rocky with multiple employees walking by us without saying anything, and then when someone came it was very difficult to hear her over the loud music that was on the time, but all in all it was a good stay. We aren’t “stay in the room” type people, so it suited our needs just fine.

We enjoyed our four nights here with our two teenagers. The beds were incredibly comfortable, we slept very soundly. The staff were friendly and attentive. Shared amenities downstairs were nice. Location was central, we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go. Our bathroom was in pretty poor shape, the sink needed replacing, and the fan needed upgrading. Also would be helpful if rooms had more areas to hang things.
