I found blood on the wall next to my bed, and a brown substance (which may have been fecal matter) on several walls of the room. The furniture was extremely worn and damaged. The 12th floor hallways have dirt and other matter on the carpets, which have an unpleasant odor. The walls have markings throughout and mold at the top of the elevators.
I paid over $500 for 2 nights at this hotel. The front desk manager - Ricardo - was uncaring and entirely unbothered about the issues with the room. His customer service was awful. They did move me to a different room, which was only slightly less worn and gave me a paltry refund of $50.
The hot tub water was COLD, and I was told it is frequently out of service. The pool is absolutely DISGUSTING. It looks like it has not been cleaned properly in months. The water is not clear - you can’t see through to the bottom. There’s so much chlorine in the water that there is a white film on top of the water surface. My son’s eyes were red and burning for hours after leaving. The lifeguard on duty - is not a lifeguard. He never once sat by the pool, and instead walked back and forth around the hot tub and sauna area. He even left the room and went to the elevators. He sat with his back turned for most of the time. When asked simple questions about towels (of which there were none) and when the hot tub would be working, he was incredibly rude and unprofessional.
