Ideally situated hotel in the middle of manhattan. Rooms are simple bed sink hob microwave tv. Ideal if you are really only using it as a base . Each floor has a shared bathroom which is clean with two showers one cubicle. My personal rating on experience and room is 7/10

Good place to stay

The hotel was fine! good location!! The check in was not easy because the front desk guy was not able to find the reservation I was notified in advance about the security deposit only using credit cards

This is a smooth property owner and site to deal with and stay. The security went above and beyond, helping with bag storage, and even tried to find me a cheaper date for my return Lyft. The room and bathrooms were clean. Even free shower soap and towels were provided.

Excellent ratio of price and quality. Our room was clean and it was exactly as in the photos. We would stay there again. We got the real New York feeling and had a spacious room with 3 double beds at a fraction of the price of a hotel.

Check in and check out was seamless. Great staff, bubbly and helpful front desk reception. Room was clean. Lacking shelving, hangers, so was hard to organize our clothes and toiletries. Shared bathrooms very clean. We were only supplied with one towel each for the whole week! TV did not work for us, front reception could not help. They advised us to call the owner, Eliza. Since we were home late on Thursday & Friday, we did not want to call her late. When I did call her on Saturday, she got very rude with me, and said I should have called her before, without giving me a chance to explain. She did say she will try and find someone for Monday, which of course never materialized.

It’s a dive, with very cheap sheets and towels, and the beds didn’t match the description so we had to share beds (but they wouldn’t do anything about it because “the same number of people could sleep”), and the halls smelled weird, the elevators were overcrowded, and the floor was quite slanted… …but it was clean, there was 24 hour door staff, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The location is great, and the price was even better. I was honestly expecting worse.

This was in a great location, extremely affordable, and at that time (March 2025) looked like everything within had just been renovated, with the whole place looking new and clean. The only thing some people may not like is that the rooms are quite small and there are no bathrooms in the hotel rooms, just common bathrooms and showers on every floor. Also, watch out for those pipes, I banged my head on one walking out of the bathroom. Other than that, great place to stay, and I'd stay again whenever I'm back.

This was a nice dorm style room with a private bathroom. The tempting the room was impossible to regulate. I’m glad we were not here in the summer but overall nice accommodation.

The position is excellent, just 5 minutes from the Empire State Building and the MSG. The room was very small, but clean. Restrooms were cleaned daily. In the end, the room is nothing fancy and you have shared restrooms, but you get what you are paying for given the position.

Great location, very close to everything in midtown Manhattan and to transportation to anywhere you want to go. The room is very small and the shared bathroom is pretty inconvenient. I don't mind sharing the bathroom but the showers configuration makes it very uncomfortable

Great location in the city, 12 min walk to Times Square and many shops and dinning near by. As for the room, some of the towels smelled and weren’t so fresh, they were also very thin. I feel like the host can add some shelving to place your items and some wall hooks. There were 7 of us and not enough places to hang up towels, coats or our items. Most of our stuff was on the floor. This next thing was one of the most irritating things about this stay… we were woken up every morning between 7-8 with loud pipe rattling sounds. Also, The radiator gave off so much heat making the room hot.

If you’re only looking for a cheap place in Manhattan, this is probably one of the few options. The location is excellent and the price is low. However, the experience was disappointing. No proper reception — a security guard checked me in and was rude, saying “you came here because it’s cheap.” There is no staff to help, no person in front desk. To use laundry, you must buy a $10 card (empty) just to activate machines. The room was very basic, metal beds were shaky, and the TV was broken with a line through the screen. The shower was clogged. Check-in is at 4pm and there’s a high deposit plus extra cash for city taxes $7. In the late evening, the hallways weirdly smelled strongly of food, which entered the room. Overall, not what I expected. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for comfort or service.
