「Unfortunately, our experience at The Elms did not live up to the expectations or the price we paid for our 3-night stay. Given the premium rates, especially for a busy weekend, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, & attention to detail. Upon arriving late at night, I got into bed only to discover what appeared to be a blood stain on the bedding right my eye level. The bed also did not have a proper duvet cover, just an insert covered by sheets, which was disappointing for a...

「My visit was disgusting. The hallway and entryway look like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The staff was nonexistent. The person who checked me in was virtual and it took a long time because she couldn’t see my drivers license. When I got to my room, the bedspread was either dirty or stained. There were long hairs in the sink. Those two things alone made me question if anything was clean. I was exhausted and I knew there was no person to talk to so I just went to bed. I slept in my clothes...

「Clean room, nice staff. Some of the paint and trim is getting worn in some of the rooms. Small cobweb in one corner of the room. Stained grout on tub. Lots of loud squeaky doors on the second floor. Lots of thumping and stomping noise due to loud guests that were there for a youth soccer team meet over the weekend. Biscuits were not done at breakfast. Doughy, crumbly and not hot enough or fully baked. People would not line up in an orderly fashion at the breakfast area. It was a free for all!...
