「It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel, staff are very nice and friendly, hotel is beautiful, well designed, the room is very clean. I will definitely come back again.」
「Besonders schön ausgestattet, gemütlich in einer alten Baustruktur, toller Blick vom Balkon, ideale Lage, nettes Frühstück, einziger Nachteil: Hellhörigkeit」
「We had an excellent experience at Memoria, Porto FLH Hotel. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet quiet enough for a relaxing stay.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the afternoon tea was a lovely detail that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, everything about our visit exceeded expectations. We would definitely choose...
「This is one of the best hotel experience I have. Very stylish design of hotel, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff who is willing to share with you anything about the city. Great breakfast too!」
「The most delicious meals, the most quiet and beautiful room, plus an amazing shower, the spa massage was extraordinary, the pools, sauna, and steam room, but the best part was the staff—-they made everything perfect. So very kind and helpful. Shout out especially to Marta(bar), and Julianna ( spa). Hate to leave.」
「Ideal location for exploring Porto. Beautiful room, only issue is if you have someone staying above you and are not mindful when they walk on the wooden flooring. Couple of time we woke up due to noises from above. Otherwise, it was a pleasant two nights stay in Porto.」
「Fantastic hotel. Everything about it is good - the people, the rooms, the food, the gifts, the cocktails, the view, all top notch. Probably all around the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. My only complaint, and it’s minor, is the buttons that operate the lights and blinds. They are tricky. But they do not take away from the great time our entire family had! Big thank you to everyone that works there, you made our trip to Porto one of the best, what a place. Started this trip in the Algarve...
「Our stay was perfect! Staff is so sweet, room was so nice and a great location for exploring the city for the first time. Our stay included breakfast which was great. I recommend staying at Menina Colina 」
"Two reasons you should consider this hotel but many more reasons not to book!
Good things: the spa and restaurant staff are great, and the location is exceptional but they’re many other hotels next door.
Bad things:
- unfriendly receptionist: the receptionists were not attentive and friendly throughout my 3-day stay, especially the one who checked me in. I just looked at the other guest comments, it seems my bad experience was not unique to me.
- Room conditions: the room has a very small window (like a prison) that offers almost no natural night. Hotels.com must indicate this in the room description because people like me do mind. Also, the room size is small.
- Noise: Throughout my entire stay, I could not sleep well because of the noise coming from both inside and outside of the hotel. Imagine disco music is On till 2am.
- Housekeeping: the bathrobes were being removed from the room and clean towels were not refilled. The cleaning and amenities were random - good luck!
Extra charge: 20 Euro for the receptionist to just make a phone call to get a taxi, while the taxi ride costs just 10 Euro. I’d rather pay an extra fee to the taxi driver who actually delivered a service and drove me to the train station safely. Where does it say in the hotel’s public information on this extra charge? Shouldn't it be a part of the 5-star hotel? "
