Rafael and Emilio were gracious and helpful host. Upon arrival, Rafael recommended activities, restaurants for our entire stay. Emilio helped with check out and getting out of the very safe garage parking. We paid for the morning breakfast, which was fantastic; coffee, juice, cooked eggs to order fresh, fruit, and fresh bread. I highly recommend contacting them ahead of time to reserve a parking space in their garage.

Gorgeous garden (fresh flowers in the room) and spectacular view of the rooftops and river from the "lover's walk". Add the centuries-old nature of the building & property, all expertly modernized. Truly a magical experience. This is one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. From the immaculate rooms, exceptional hospitality and superb breakfasts, to the astounding physical position of the property and its substantial garden Casa Camelia goes beyond wonderful. It was a heavenly experience.

Hidden little gem Hotel

An amazing little hidden gem in the back streets of Porto, located in a very quiet area of the city with amazing views of the gardens, river and the city! Hosting and service was first class and will most surely be staying here again!

had a fantastic stay in Porto! The location was absolutely perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore. The breakfast each morning was delicious, offering a great variety to start the day. My room was charming, with beautiful touches and direct access to a lovely garden — a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. A special shout-out to Emilio, the concierge, who was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Porto!

Casa Camelia was my favourite thing in Porto.The staff was amazing and spoiled us immensely. I have never had such caring service. The property is beautiful, quiet and handy. I loved the river view from our room and the decorating inside. It was worth every penny and then some.

Raphael was amazing, as were all of the staff. The room was excellent, and the breakfasts were fresh and superb in every way. No issues with our Fiat Panda parking in on-site garage. Nor with the very narrow exit street. Would plan a future trip around this place.
